This stunning, elegant, but architectural ring is from my newest collection called Fan as I feel the shapes remind me of little paper fans. Inspired by walks in Ladybank forest, Fife, I was attracted to tree trunks that were cut in irregular ways. The edges and layers of the cuttings were different heights and textures and this inspired me to make this new collection, which consists of three different sizes.
This ring is from the smallest of the shapes and is handmade in silver with 3mm d-shaped wire band. It is curved inside for a comfort fit. The band itself is a U shape with the fan piece sitting flat on top. This makes it hard to size on the mandrel but it is approximately a size K 1/2. I specialise in bespoke orders so if you would like it made in a different size get in touch.
It comes in a luxury recycled gift box with branded logo. If it is for a gift please specify in the order form comments at checkout as I can also provide a gift bag so you will not need to wrap the piece and it will help the environment.
