This stunning statement green quartz trillion adjustable ring is inspired by walks on the beach and picking up unusual pieces of seaglass. It was lovingly handmade in my garden studio in Tayport. I enjoy going for walks on the beach and forest. I love gemstones with natural inclusions as they have character and hidden depth within them.
This gorgeous semi-precious gemstone is a green quartz, which is also known as Prasiolite which is a type of Quartz that contains inclusions such as Chlorite, and Actinolite. It’s these inclusions that give Green Quartz it’s beautiful and unique colour. Other names for this crystal include Green Amethyst, Lime Citrine, and Vermarine. It is an extremely rare gemstone. Green Quartz is an amazing healing crystal for a more compassionate heart that can make a big impact on your life.

I have designed this setting and handmade it specifically for this stone. I don’t like to cover up the stones, but set them to look like they are floating, so you can see the full detail and beauty of this stunning rare gemstone. The setting is made in 9ct yellow gold to bring out the subtle glacier green colour of the gemstone. The stone has inclusions inside and is faceted to make it sparkle. The ring has a chunky 1cm wide silver band which is adjustable and is polished finished and the setting is matt finished, which adds contrast and makes the stone pop even more.
