Add a bit of luxury with these new eye catching, 9ct gold plated silver cube drop earrings. Available in 3 sizes, these are the largest sized set and are 2cm square, but drop to 3.2cm with the earrings hook. The cubes swing and sparkle when they catch the light.

These stunning hand finished 9ct yellow gold plated Silver cube stud earrings are made in the pretty seaside town of Tayport, just across the River Tay and only 5 mins drive from the V&A Dundee. I make my jewellery inside a garden studio which is also becoming an inspiration in my work. This particular silver design is inspired by natural rock formations along the coast of Tayside and Fife, as well as my love of architecture. I love to go for walks along the waters edge, taking inspiration from the different shapes, textures and forms of the rugged coastline, created by the powerful waves of the Tay.

Are you looking for a piece of jewellery for yourself for everyday wear or for your summer holiday? Or are you looking for a thank you gift for a fantastic Teacher, a 40th birthday or anniversary gift? Whatever the occasion these beautiful stud earrings will fit the bill.

With a Bauhaus, architectural feel, they are contemporary and elegant with a rustic charm. I make different sizes of this style of silver cube and this is the medium layered cube sizes.  Dare to be different with Genna Delaney jewellery and stand out from the crowd.

Each set is handmade so will vary in texture and finish, making each set unique, just like you.

The cubes are approximately 1.8cm square. They are lightweight, elegant and easy to wear. The edges of the cubes are polished so they catch the light and sparkle, they have a matt textured and polished finish.

With the advances in new technology, I never want to be left behind with my practice so I decided to experiment with 3D Printing to create my new collection of jewellery. However as handmade skills are extremely important in my practice I also didn’t want these skills to be lost in the making of the new collection. So I have incorporated 3D printing technology with handmade skills to produce my new Gothic Cube Collection.

This collection has been designed by using the Cloud 9 design programme, by Anarkik3D. The programme is really fun to use as you can design serendipitous shapes with a haptic mouse. The haptic mouse is sensory so you can feel a sensation when you touch the object with the curser, so it allows you to feel like you are sculpting and moulding the shapes. If you would like to test out the program for yourself, I offer bespoke one to one, design your own 3D jewellery classes.

I use the programme to create shapes that I wouldn’t be able to make by hand (or at least they would be extremely difficult, time consuming and costly to make!) Then I get these shapes 3D printed in a hard wearing, but lightweight material called Polyamide. Getting them printed in this material, allows me to produce really chunky, statement pieces, without them totally wearing you down. I love to wear chunky pieces but as I have an underactive thyroid, I have a weak neck and decided to experiment making large statement pieces that aren’t heavy to wear. The solution is my 3D printed collection.

Each piece is beautifully packaged in a branded black eco gift box with silver logo and can come with a gift bag if it is a gift and if requested when ordering. All pieces are securely packaged and sent by Special Delivery which royal mail guarantee next day delivery. You will need to be in to sign for your parcel. So no need to wrap your pieces as you can gift them in my branded gift box and bag.

As I am eco and environmentally conscious, I may reuse bubble wrap envelopes from time to time. I rebranded from Genna Design to Genna Delaney so you may receive packaging with the old logo but they still have my current contact details on them. This is to help the environment as I hate to waste packaging.

Feel good that you are supporting an independent Scottish jewellery artist, designer, maker and enjoy wearing your new unique piece.
