Due to the irregular cut and different colour variations in the strands of aquamarine stones that I use, each piece is unique.
The Story –
I absolutely love to make a statement ring. I work from my garden studio, in the pretty seaside town of Tayport, just across the River Tay and only 5 mins drive from the V&A Dundee. This particular silver component ring is inspired by architectural lines along the coast of Tayside and Fife, including the geometric angles from oil rigs and sails from the yachts in the harbour. I love to go for walks along the waters edge, taking inspiration from the different shapes, textures and forms of the rugged coastline. I love combing the beaches for unusual shaped rocks which is the influence to incorporate the irregular shaped gemstones into this collection to add a hint of colour and detail. I mainly use aquamarine, tourmalinated quartz and amethyst, but if there is a particular stone you would like me to incorporate into your ring, just get in touch.
How it can be worn –

It is a statement and lightweight ring so if you like a statement piece, it can be worn during the day, to work, at zoom meetings or you can wear it in the evening and will add a little bit of sparkle and detail to your outfit. Team it up with matching earrings or a pendant and it’ll complete your style.
With a Bauhaus, architectural feel, this piece is contemporary, statement cocktail ring. I make two sizes of this style of silver ring, with or without a stone. This is the larger sized ring which is approximately Length 4.2cm x 1.6cm. This piece is also adjustable so it can fit a number of sizes.
Due to the technique in making this piece, each ring will vary in texture and juxtaposition of the component piece to the ring shank, making every ring unique, just like you. If you are looking for a smaller piece have a look at the small version or for something more simple try the larger version without the stone here. Each aquamarine stone varies in shape and colour so there may be a slight variation of stone from the image displayed. Each piece is totally unique.
The stone sits along one finger. I love sourcing unusual stones and like to set them in unique ways. Each strand of aquamarine nuggets are completely unique, with irregular cuts and have natural inclusions. Aquamarine can be a subtle cloudy pale blue stone to a brighter blue or can come in a subtle clear green shade to cloudy green like a glacier aquamarine pictured. This ring is a perfect piece of jewellery if you want to show off and wear it for a special occasion.
Postage and Packaging –
Each piece is beautifully packaged in a branded black eco gift box with silver logo and can come with a gift bag if it is a gift and if requested when ordering. All pieces are securely packaged and sent by Special Delivery which royal mail guarantee next day delivery. You will need to be in to sign for your parcel. So no need to wrap your pieces as you can gift them in my branded gift box and bag.
As I am eco and environmentally conscious, I may reuse bubble wrap envelopes from time to time. I rebranded from Genna Design to Genna Delaney so you may receive packaging with the old logo but they still have my current contact details on them. This is to help the environment as I hate to waste packaging.
