These earrings are perfect for everyday wear if you love a statement earring or glam them up with a dress and wear to a party. The pearls spin and there is different detail on each side of the pearl. The pearls are a unusual irregular shape and I design the silver shape around the shape of the pearls so each set is completely unique. I love sourcing unusual stones and enjoy setting them in unique ways. I like to show off the stones to their full and want to let them to look as if they are floating in the air, so you can see their full beauty.
The matt rollered texture silver and the creamy silky pearls will suit many colours so can be worn with many different styles. My work is inspired by the textures of the natural world, natural rock formations, pebbles on the rocks of the beach (which is why I am drawn to gemstones that have character and unusual shapes) and architecture. The rollered textured is created by using handmade papers and rolling them through the rolling mill with silver.
These are a one off set. Even though they are large, they are lightweight and easy to wear.
