These sculptural silver pyramid drop earrings are individually made in my garden studio in seaside town of Tayport, Fife. Inspired by architecture and the natural textures of the rock formations on the coast of the Tay. I originally designed these using the Anarkik 3D design programme and had them 3d printed in polyamide, a lightweight hardwearing, plastic nylon material. Then I got the shapes cast in silver. I love the combination of the matt and polished texture. This design represents the layering of the rocks on the rouged Scottish coastline. As individuals we all have lots of layers and this design is influenced by that.
These pieces are hand finished so variation of shape and texture may occur. These are solid silver, which are light weight and easy to wear. They are matt and polished finish so the texture sparkles in the light when they move with the body.
If you like architectural, geometric jewellery that is contemporary and luxurious, with a rustic texture then you’ll love these.
