This stunning statement strawberry quartz adjustable ring is inspired by walks on the beach and picking up unusual pieces of rocks and pebbles. It was lovingly handmade in my garden studio in Tayport, Fife, in Scotland. I love gemstones with natural inclusions as they have character and hidden depth within them. These tiny specks of rutile give the stone it’s signature glittering effect. Plus, it creates an appearance that’s similar to that of the seeds on strawberries!

I have designed this setting and handmade it specifically for this stone. I don’t like to cover up the stones, but set them to look like they are floating, so you can see the full detail and beauty of this stunning rare gemstone. The stone has inclusions inside. The ring has a chunky 1cm wide silver band which is adjustable and is polished textured finished, which adds contrast and makes the stone pop even more.
